Rose White

Rose D White resident of Schenectady, New York passed away at home on Monday, December 5, 2016. She was born on May 24, 1926 in Syracuse, New York to her proud parents Clara Brown Cecconi of Syracuse, New York and Innocenzo Antonio Angelo Cecconi from Sonnino, Italy. She attended and graduated school in the Syracuse, New York area.

Mrs. White worked in telecommunications and various other health care positions until settling into and ultimately retiring from Union College Character Research and Development Project. Over the years she served as a volunteer Girl Scout leader and PTA member. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses, cooking, baking and horse races.

Rose is survived by family members: James Ciccone, Linda Dana, John White and Gerri White, Andrew White and Evelyn Huggins, Joseph Epperson, John White, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great, great, grandchildren, 4 nephews, 1 niece, grand nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12th at 12pm at New Comer Funeral Home; a calling hour will precede the service.
