GUILDERLAND- Roselyn Bradley Glass, 87, passed away at peacefully at her home on Tuesday June 30, 2009.
An Albany native, "Roz" was the daughter of the late May O'Connor and John T. Bradley. She resided in the town of Guilderland for the last 40 years. She was a caring and enthusiastic homemaker and a loving mother. Roz was an avid golfer and as a member of the Northeastern Women's League, she enjoyed participating in matches and tournaments throughout the area. She was predeceased by her husband Lansing Glass, a well known local golfer. Together, they enjoyed longtime memberships at Normanside and Pinehaven Country Club, respectively. They were also very instrumental in the establishment of the local Blind Golfer's Association.
Roz is the cherished mother of Pamela Glass Linsley, Bradley W. (Paula) Glass, Lansing J. (Karen) Glass and Deborah (Robert) Johnsen. She is the loving grandmother of Dustin, Robert and Gabriel Johnsen, Bradley P. Glass, Lansing S. Glass and Stephen Glass, Kimberly A. and Brian G. Linsley.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In recognition of their tireless and compassionate care of Roselyn during her illness and our sincere thanks, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd.
