A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Rosemarie V. Bleichert (Hans) born in Nassau, New York has passed away at the age of 65 after a battle with Covid.
She resided in the town of Colonie and survived by her husband of 46 years Henry Bleichert, her four children, Laurie Hewitt, John, Jeff, Rob (Jennifer) Bleichert. Rose also left behind her four legged children Calie, Bali, Heidi and Tori, and six grandchildren who all cared for her deeply, Jonathan, Angel, Chrisitian, and Payton Bleichert, and Lucas and Natalie Hewitt. Plus many other family members and friends she considered family. She is no longer in pain and can join her fur babies who have passed, as well as her mom, dad and brother.
Rose was a retired school bus driver who loved her husband, kids and her grandkids. She always made the holidays special for everyone and was a kind and giving person. She loved going camping every summer and spending time with her camp family. She also loved to shop and had many hobbies over the years. Roses have always been her favorite flower, loved dachshunds, bears, and her new found love was gnomes. She was always being crafty just like her mom Lillian Hans (Ogden) and loved her dad John Hans dearly. Her favorite song was butterfly kisses by Eric Carlisle because it reminded her of her dad who had passed away too soon.
Per Rose's request, there will not be a wake or funeral but when the weather gets warmer we will get together to celebrate her life. We will post it on the immediate families Facebook pages, if you do not have Facebook and would like to attend, please reach out to the family.
The family has chosen New Comer Funeral Home to take care of her end of life needs.
