Clifton Park- Rosemarie "Ro" Cramer, 78, passed away on Sunday October 4, 2015 at Ellis Hospital with loved ones by her side. She was born February 27, 1937 in Plainfield, NJ to Hildegard (Reinauer) and Karl Hoerth. Upon graduating from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ, she worked as an administrative assistant in small businesses in NJ. In the early 1960's Ro moved to NYC where she worked and lived for 10 years. She moved to the Clifton Park area in the early '70's where she continued in her career as an administrative assistant until she retired in 2012 from MVP.
Ro enjoyed spending time with her many friends, tending to her virtual greenhouse of plants, camping, and adding to her household collectibles. She loved creating unique personal greeting cards, each designed especially for the recipient. She was a kind spirited, generous person whose beautiful soul was always thinking and caring about other people. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
Ro was preceded in death by her parents and her companion of 37 years, Walter Milbank. She is survived by two sisters, Linda Talcott (Dean) and Loretta Franzen (Ray); niece Deb Derr; nephew Greg Franzen; three grand nephews Jack, Jon, and Colin; and stepdaughter Kara Coston who generously cared for Ro during the last months of her life. Thank you Kara. Thanks also to Annie and Dave Wigley for many years of special friendship.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association.
