LATHAM – Rosemarie LeBlanc, 62, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Rosemarie was born on June 15, 1949 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Rosemary (Borowsky) DiPace. Rosemarie was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a loving, kind, compassionate woman whose strong faith guided her. Rosemarie also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh with her extraordinary wit. She was an avid reader and creative writer of poetry and short stories. Rosemarie will be loved and missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched.
Rosemarie is survived by her children, Steven (Melissa) Juliano, Tricia (Chris) Petromelis and Timothy (Kelly) LeBlanc; her stepsons, Richard (Cheri) LeBlanc Jr. and Michael LeBlanc; her grandchildren, Conner, Cameron and Josh Juliano, Rachael and Christopher Petromelis, Emma and Liam LeBlanc, and David LeBlanc; her sisters, Joanne (Lou) Klapp, Angela (William) Pettes and Denise (George) Hafner; her dear friends, Linda Karl and Marge Messier, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. LeBlanc Sr.; her sister, Bernadette Tortorici and her brother, Ralph DiPace.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Calling Hours will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be at Our Lady of Angles Cemetery in Colonie.
