Rosemarie T. Rushford

SCHENECTADY - Rosemarie T. Rushford, 57 passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemarie was born on May 13, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY and is the daughter of Anthony (Constance) DeBerardinis and the late Rose (Belluscio) DeBerardinis. She worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for 38 years before retiring in 2006. She enjoyed playing slot machines and spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren.
In addition to her father and stepmother of Ohio, Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 24 years, William L. Rushford; her children, Theresa M. Burroughs of Schenectady, Brian W. (Melissa) Rushford of Albany, Sgt. Benjamin J. (Lauren) Rushford of Great Falls, MT, and William J. Rushford of Schenectady; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cody, Madeline, Gianna, Jack, Nicholas and Liam; her sisters, Linda Omilin and Joan (Merwin) Brown; her brothers, Anthony DeBerardinis and Robert (Susan) DeBerardinis and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Louis DeBerardinis.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
