COLONIE - Rosemary E. Frederick, 85, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the Teresian House.
Rosemary was born on March 19, 1930 in Syracuse and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Whitmore) Tippie. She was an administrative secretary for NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) for many years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Rosemary is the loving mother of Tina Flynn (David Douglas), Teresa E. Kucskar, Timothy P. Frederick (Kim), Terrence M. Frederick, and Daniel J. Frederick (Gabriella); cherished grandmother of JJ and Amanda Flynn, Marisa Kucskar, Courtney Bosco (David), Tim Frederick, Ashley (Shawn) and Brandon; cherished great grandmother of Connor Bosco; loving sister of Joan VanOrden and Bobby Tippie and she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, George J. Frederick, her son-in-law, Paul Kucskar; and three sisters and one brother.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at the Teresian House for the care their mother received during her time there.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie. Calling hours will be at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watervliet, will be at the convenience of the family.
