Rosemary (Joy) Klapp passed away peacefully March 3, 2021 at age 85. She was predeceased by husband, Matthias Klapp and parents, Margaret and Frank Buzzo.
Joy is survived by her children, Michael Naylor (Kelly) and Robert Naylor (Maria) and grandchildren Rainier and Denali Naylor, her sisters, Michelin Buzzo-Weldon, Frances Gay Buzzo-Dunn, Margaret A. Buzzo-Lyons and brother Frank Buzzo, Jr., her stepchildren, Ken Klapp (Rose) and Pat Atwell (Peter), along with several nieces and nephews.
Joy was an elementary school teacher in the Mechanicville Central School District for many years. She loved to roller skate and enjoyed the sport throughout her retirement. She liked a good detective story and travelling with her husband Matt. Joy was an active member of Lynnwood Reformed Church in Guilderland, NY, as well as the Venice United Church of Christ in Venice, FL.
Interment and service will be private. Contributions in her memory may be made to: Schenectady ARC, 214 State Street, Schenectady, NY 12305
