ASHLAND, OH - Rosemary T. Pepperman, 80, formerly of Colonie, NY, passed on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Pathways Hospice in Ashland, OH.
Rosemary was born on June 18, 1937 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Pepperman and Rose Rung Pepperman. Rosemary grew up in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1955. Shortly thereafter, she began a career in telecommunications with New York Telephone, ultimately retiring from Verizon after 40 years of service.
A lifelong resident of the Albany area, she enjoyed traveling with friends, gardening, and taking care of her home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph A. Quackenbush.
The family would like to thank the staff at Brookwood Place in Ashland, Ohio for Rosemary's care the last three years.
According to Rosemary's wishes, there will be no calling hours, and graveside services will be private. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie, NY. New Comer Cremations & Funerals in Colonie, NY is handling arrangements.
