COLONIE – Rosemary Ramos, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a brief illness.
Rosemary was born in New York City and resided in New Jersey until moving to Colonie 5 years ago. She worked for and retired from Napp Chemicals Inc. after 25 years of service. Rosemary was a member of the Holy Rosary Society. She enjoyed playing Canasta with friends, and cherished the time she spent with her family, especially the grandkids.
Rosemary will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Felix Ramos; sons Philip (Jeanette) Ramos of Scottsdale, Arizona, Richard (Svitlana)Ramos of Niskayuna and David Ramos of Lodi, New Jersey; siblings John Ubinas, Joseph Ubinas, Anne Marchesani and Peter Ubinas, and grandchildren Lauren, Christian, Juliette and Anya Rose. She was predeceased by parents John and Jenny Ubinas and brothers Anthony, Rubin and James.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 9:00 am at St. Clare's Church, 1947 Central Avenue, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice Inn, 315 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in Rosemary's name.
