Rosemary T. O'Connor

ALBANY – Rosemary T. (Weissenburger) O'Connor, 83, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany, she was predeceased by her parents. Rosemary, affectionately known by her family as ROC, was proud of her Irish heritage. She worked for many years as a bank teller and more recently as a manager at the Omni Hotel in Albany before retiring.
Rosemary is the beloved mother of Norine (Peter) Kelsey, Debbi (Dave) Leonardo, Johanne Krause, Patti (Greg) Jensen and John (Kristy) Weissenburger. She is the cherished grandmother of Christopher (Erica) and Mark Kelsey, Gregory and Amanda Leonardo, Taylor and Nicole Zelka, Ashley Jensen, Patrick Krause, Jax and Linc Weissenburger. She is great grandmother of Timothy and Hanna Kelsey. Rosemary is the dear cousin of Rev. Francis A. O'Connor.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville at 10:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope Residence, 1 Jeanne Jugan Lane, Latham, NY 12110 or Academy of Holy Names, 1073 New Scotland Rd., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Rosemary T. O'Connor.
