LATHAM-Rosemary (Mimi) T. Wisneski Schmitt, 94, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 23, 2009. She was born January 7, 1915 in Albany and had graduated from Albany High School and Mildred Elly Business Institute.
Rosemary was sadly predeceased in 1984 by her beloved husband John J. Schmitt and in 1995 by her sister Constance E. Wisneski. She is survived by her two sons John and Gerard Schmitt; two daughters, Constance (Bruce) Myers and Ann Marie (Robert) Herbst; and her brother Joseph Wisneski. She is Mimi to 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Rosemary is also survived by a niece and a nephew and her dear friend Terri Schmitt.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday morning at 9:00 at Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany. There will be no calling hours. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. In keeping with Rosemary's wishes and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Blessed Sacrament Church Food Pantry, 607 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
