Ross Galietta

GLOVERSVILLE – Ross Joseph Galietta, 53, of Gloversville, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2006. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Mary Galietta. Ross was a Schenectady resident for most of his life before moving to Gloversville. He was a U.S. Marine Corps. veteran serving his country during the Viet Nam War. He enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos, playing poker and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ross is the beloved fiancé of Victoria Yusko of Gloversville. He is the devoted father of Stephen and Jared Galietta, Christopher Cross, Kierian Heagle and Savanna Marie "Princess" Bello. He was the loving brother of Gabriel Galietta, Ann Benedict and Emma Bliven. He is the cherished grandfather of Alejandro Galietta.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady.
