Roxana Suiyee Lo

NISKAYUNA – Roxana Sui Yee Lo, 60, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Her family lost a devoted wife, a beloved mother, and an adoring grandmother.

Roxana was born December 22, 1952 in Hong Kong, China, the daughter 0f the late Sze Hoi Lo and Sim Ying Lee Lo. Roxana graduated from Wentworth Girls School in Bournemouth, England and the University of Western Ontario, in London, Canada.
Roxana married the love of her life, Hung Kay Lo, on March 1, 1975. Together they had two sons, Alan Man Lone Lo and Kenneth Man Fai Lo. She passionately believed the most important thing is to love each other as a family, and instilled that belief in her family. Roxana enjoyed traveling the world with her family. She was kind, generous, and ready to share her love with those around her and was always compassionate towards others.

Roxana was a career professional in Information Technology as an Assistant Vice President at Bank of America. She received much recognition as a very reliable, dependable, and trustworthy employee.
Roxana is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Hung Kay; her loving sons, Alan (Nhan) Lo and Kenneth (Ann) Lo; her cherished grandson Nathan Ying Kit Lo; her brothers Sui Shek (Julie) Law of Canada, Sui Cheung Lo and Jeff Lo of Hong Kong; her sisters Sui Lan (Yung Sum) Wong, Sylphia Law, Janice (Nicholas) Wong, Flora Lo, and Susanna (Mikey) Shing of Hong Kong; and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 5th at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.

Flowers or contributions in the memory of Roxana Lo may be sent to the funeral home, to be distributed to charities of the families choice. (Checks may be made payable to Hung Kay Lo)
