Roy Vincent Dacey

Roy Vincent Dacey, 60, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at St. Peters hospital with his loving family by his side.
Roy was the son of William J. Dacey and the late Marjorie A. Dacey.
Roy was a member of and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.
He was a cab driver for over 36 years in the capital district.
He loved the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping and family cookouts.
In addition to his mother, Roy was predeceased by his brother, Shawn F. Dacey.
Roy is survived by his father, William J. Dacey; his loving companion, Linda J. Decker and her daughter, Johanna M. Williams; his daughter, Michele (Kevin) Henry and her children; Ember Stevens, Alexis Henry and Levi Henry; his siblings; Kathleen Dacey, Michael Dacey, Florence Dacey, Francis (Kasey) Dacey, Nicole (Victor) Caisse and Christina (Dennis) Hans. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Friday June 8, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday June 8, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Roy was the son of William J. Dacey and the late Marjorie A. Dacey.
