WATERFORD- Roy J. Wieczorek, 72, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2021.
He was born on August 9, 1948 son of the late John and Jean Wieczorek.
Roy was a graduate of Milne School in Albany class of 1966 . He then attended Buffalo University. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army from 1968-1971 proudly serving his country in the Vietnam War.
Roy is survived by his sons, Major Jason Wieczorek (Jenah) of Ft. Stewart, GA and their children, Liam and Eli ; Justin Wieczorek (Cristina) of Newburg NY and their children Henryk and Penelope, Michael Wieczorek (Yu Hang) of Chengdu, China; and their mother, Dianne Barmonde of Clifton Park and sisters, Susan, Elaine, Bethany and Amanda.
Calling hours will be held on April 21, 2021 from 10-12 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 12pm. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
