Troy- Ruby E. Hilts-Marks "Tiny", 59, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 21, 2021. She was the daughter of Ruby (James) Carraway and the late Francis Hilts. Ruby was the devoted wife to the late Milton Marks. They were married 10 years.
After graduating from Troy high school, Tiny became a Certified Nursing Assistant at several local agencies where she provided compassionate care for all those she served. She was also known as a "giver". Whether a temporary home, food or clothing for a friend or family, if she had it, she gave it!
Tiny enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. Many were drawn to her humor and elaborate cookouts. Tiny had a fondness for old school music. She loved to travel and attend theme parks. Most of all, Tiny enjoyed the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Ruby "Tiny" is survived by her children, Shonta D. (Yaritza) Hilts, Kolby J. (Ranesha) Martin, Juanita Mayben, Mayzell Maye, Jr., Vondell McCall, Tavon McCall; siblings, Viola (Eugene) Henderson, Frances (the late David) Hilts-Suggs, Frank Hilts, Jr., Christopher (Levene) Hilts, Janet Hilts, Alton Hilts, Linay Hilts, Haywood Hilts, Latiya (Priest) Hilts-Jefferies, Lakesha Hilts; and many beloved relatives, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Although Tiny is gone, she will never be forgotten. We will cherish our memories and forever hold her in our hearts.

Calling hours: New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205 on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm. The funeral service will be held from 12pm to 1pm. Burial will follow the service at Park View Cemetery, 40 Fehr Ave, Schenectady, NY 12304.
