Russell A. Krouse

Russell A. Krouse, 74, passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2015 while at his summer camp at Sunset Bay.
Russell was born October 25, 1940, in Albany, NY, the son of the late Albert and Ruth (Maxwell) Krouse.
He proudly served with the United States Air Force.
Russell was owner and operator of his own landscaping business, Krouse Landscaping, Inc. for over 30 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and playing horse shoes and board games with the family.
He was a member of the congregation of the Colonie Alliance Church for 10 years.
In addition to his parents, Russell was predeceased by his daughter and son, Lori L. Bassler and Kevin A. Krouse.
Russell is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Wilma (Szepek) Krouse, he is the cherished father of Marci (Kevin) Keppler of Guilderland and Jason (Sabrina) Krouse of Duanesburg, his son-in-law Darren Bassler and his daughter-in-law Krystle Krouse. He is the adored grandfather of 10 beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by his twin sister, Karen Cheney, Janet Krouse and Jeannette Harting, several nieces, nephews and his Sunset Bay Family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Colonie Alliance Church, 32 Lapham Drive, Colonie.
Viewing hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Church.
There will also be a Memorial Service on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Bay Resort.
Interment will be private.
