Russell B. DeBrocky Jr., 75, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's. He was born in Albany to the late Russell and Claudia DeBrocky on December 13th, 1946.
Duby had a passion for music and loved to sing. He also played harmonica, wrote Bible scripts and preached to everyone. He saved a lot of souls. Russell loved hanging out with his grandkids, he cherished them all. He had a huge heart and will be sadly missed by everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Linda DeBrocky, brothers James and Mark DeBrocky and son in law Keith Smalls.
He is survived by his daughter Claudia DeBrocky, son Michael (Filicia) DeBrocky, grandchildren Adriana Smalls, X' Zayvean Smalls, Jagger Vera Martinez , Mike DeBrocky, Ray'Anna Smalls, Leo DeBrocky, sister, Marie DeBrocky, (Mona Golub, brother Charles DeBrocky, brothers in law James (Mary) Palmer, George (Star) Palmer , Joseph (Lori) Hagen, sister in law Sharon (Walter) Papineau as well as host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Monday September 19th from 10am-11am with a service to begin at 11am, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY.
