Clifton Park - Russell E. Griffin, Jr., "Papa" 79, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Born on March 31, 1942 in Saint John, Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Russell E. Griffin, Sr. and Margaret Eugenia (Davenport) Nagle. He received his bachelor's degree from Bentley University and continued his career with numerous and successful businesses. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing, but most especially, spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Russell is survived by his devoted wife, Catherine Ann (Fremont) Griffin; his loving children, Kimberly Reno, Scott Griffin, and Michele (Gerry) Cunsolo; his ten adored grandchildren; his seven cherished great grandchildren; his cherished sister, Sharyl Galvin; several nieces and nephews; and his step-children, Jennifer (Robert) Czumak, Brian (Michele) Durovic and Michael Durovic. He was predeceased by his sister, Judy Muller.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to sincerely give their much appreciation to the staff on 5 Springs of the Wesley Health Care Center and Community Hospice who took great care and concern for Russell.
