Clifton Park- Russell Allan Hazen of Clifton Park, New York, passed away unexpectedly February 5, 2023.
Russell was born March 9, 1974 to Ida (Dykstra) Hazen and the late Garry Hazen. He lived in Inlet, New York and attended the Town of Webb UFSD.
He earned his doctorate degree in food science at the University of Maine and was employed by MyForest Food.
Russell was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend and lived life to the fullest. He was lovingly known as the "Adirondack Son" to his family as well as "Uncle Frosty" to his seven nieces and nephews.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the camaraderie of others almost as much as the thrill of the hunt. He is well-known for his legendary story telling ability and to make people feel good as he dazzled them with his knowledge of…everything. His smile, presence, and generosity will live on within the hearts of those that had the true pleasure of knowing him.
