Selkirk - Russell William Wickkiser, 41, passed away suddenly on December 9, 2016. He was the loving son of Myrna Williams Correll and Kenneth Wickkiser, Sr.
Russ was an avid sports fan; his favorite team was the Raiders. He was happiest when he was fishing with his brothers and his son. He was an accomplished Electrician and could fix just about anything that was broken. He gave the best "bear hugs" and was always there to make people laugh.
Russ is survived by his treasured son, Blake Russell Wickkiser; his loving brothers, Robert Coffey, Jr., John Coffey, and Kenneth Wickkiser, Jr. He leaves behind many first cousins and extended family members in Pennsylvania. He will be missed by his many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that you make a donation in Russ' memory to a charity of your choice.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
