GLENMONT - Ruth Nolan Sandwick, age 75, resident of Glenmont, NY and Tucson, AZ died peacefully in Tucson on Sunday, November 28, 2010.
She was born on January 28, 1935 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Nolan. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Thor Sandwick; her sons, Thomas (Deborah Easton) Sandwick of Pleasant Valley, NY and Scott (Dr. Ann Zeeh) Sandwick of Delmar, NY; and her grandchildren, Talia Sandwick and Samantha Sandwick. She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Nolan and Richard Nolan.
A service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Edgewood Chapel at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
Gifts in memory of Mrs. Sandwick can be made to support cancer research at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Memorials can be mailed to Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 13400 E. Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
