Ruth M. Bolognino

Schenectady- Ruth Marie Bolognino (nee, McCoy) 76, passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family on March 22, 2017. Ruth was predeceased by her father, Thomas W. McCoy; mother, Ruth L. (Shramm) McCoy; brother, Terry McCoy; and sister, Patricia Mulberry.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Carl J. Bolognino. She is the mother of Deborah Ann (Robert) Tuttle, Donna Marie (Michael) Bates, and Diana Mary (Derek) Foti; sister of Mary Morris and Gail Morehouse; grandmother of Robert Nathaniel Tuttle, Paula Marie (Andrew) Fischer, Jessika Ryan Foti, Shannon Ashley Bates and Erika Rose Foti and the great-grandmother of Emme Harlow Fischer and Davis Brady Fischer.
Ruth was a passionate gardener and loving mentor to the generations that looked up to her. She will be especially remembered for her tender heart, kind smile and special touches.
Visitation will be from 9 am to 10 am on Saturday, March 25 at New Comer Funeral & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral service will be held at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
