Ruth C. Boening

COLONIE – Ruth C. Boening, 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Albany County Nursing Home. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Rourke. Ruth was a Colonie resident for most of her life. She enjoyed flower gardening and making arts and crafts. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Boening. She is the devoted mother of Jim (Mary) Boening of Chicago, IL and Sharon (Bob) Aupperle of Colonie. She is the cherished grandmother of Bob, Joe and Mike Aupperle and Jonathan Mondragon. Ruth is the sister-in-law of Catherine Foley of Westfield, MA and the aunt of Alice Halla of Brewster, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
