Ruth Connors

GUILDERLAND – Ruth M. Connors died peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2004 at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home. She was born on June 27, 1910 in Exeter, Ontario, Canada, daughter of the late William and Ada Chapman. Mrs. Connors graduated from Hamilton General Hospital Nursing School. She worked at Albany Medical Center Hospital for 25 years and, more recently for SUNY at Albany from where she retired. Ruth was a long time resident of Albany. Mrs. Connors was very involved with caring for the sick and helping out with church functions. Ruth is the wife of the late Harry R. Connors whom she married in 1943. She is the greatly loved mother of Harry W. Connors and mother-in-law of Sharon M. Connors. She is the cherished grandmother of Ann Marie Eriole and her husband, Mark. She is the devoted great-grandmother of Olivia Hope Eriole. Also survived by dear family member, Geri Ryan and many other family and friends.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie.
