Ruth D. Chrysogelos

ALBANY, NY – Ruth D. Chrysogelos, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Grace DeNucci and had lived in Albany for all of her life. Ruth liked making crafts, crocheting afghans, visiting Racino and scratch-off tickets. She liked to bake and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Ruth is the beloved wife of 58 years to George Chrysogelos. She is the devoted mother of Georgene Chrysogelos, Kim (Dave) Lunday, Keith (Nancy) Chrysogelos, Lynn Chrysogelos and Dedra (Mike) Kessler. Ruth is the sister of Albert DeNucci. Also surviving are seven cherished grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and her dear friends, Dorothy, Donald and Honey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. At the family's request, contributions would be appreciated to the American Lung Association, 155 Washington Square, Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 in memory of Ruth D. Chrysogelos.
