Ruth Frank

ALBANY- Ruth R. Frank 91, of Albany, died in her sleep at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home on May 12, 2005. Born in her beloved Picton, Ontario Canada, Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.
She was the family historian, a tireless volunteer worker and a woman of strongly held opinions (e.g., all men/boys, City of Albany, anything Irish is wonderful, etc.) While Ruth specifically asked that her employers (and they know who they are) not be listed here, she would definitely want it to be known that she was pro-union until the very end.
Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband George, as well as her sisters, Viola, Carpinello and Helen Deagan and her brother Bruce Cole. She is survived by her four sons, Michael Audi, Patrick (Judith) Frank, Gerald (Patricia) Frank, and Laurence (Mary Jean) Frank; four grandsons, David, Stephen, Michael and Jesse Frank, three granddaughters, Courtney Frank, Amanda Case and Leslie Audi; three great grandsons, Christian Frank, Joseph and Samuel Case; her sister, Bernice Corodimas, five nephews, James and Daniel Cole, Peter, Thomas and Kevin Corodimas; two nieces, Diane and Denise Deagan. She is the great aunt of James Cole, Christopher Diacetes, Patricia Riley, Andrea Mattocks, Stephanie and Meridith Diacetes, Shawn Riley Jr., Nicholas Paliwodzinski, Garret Cole, Meagan and Amanda Riley and Christina Mattocks.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 8:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
The family requests that absolutely NO flowers be sent. (Ruth will come back to haunt us if there are flowers, believe us!). Memorial contributions in Ruth's memory are suggested to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany NY 12205
