ALBANY-Ruth Jane Clifford, 85 of Albany, NY passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on March 5, 1929 in West Sand Lake, NY, the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Emma F. (Mosall) Keeler. Ruth had a great sense of humor and was very witty. She loved baking and crocheting for everyone.
Ruth is survived by her children Doris Hale and her husband Wesley, Maggie Middleton and her husband Les, Paul Clifford and his wife Lilly, and Gail Pierce and her husband Brian; grandchildren April Grady, Jason Grady and his wife Mary, Joshua Hummel, Jamie Shuhart and her husband Josh, Sarah Middleton, Amanda Middleton, Matthew Pierce and Abbey Pierce; great grandchildren Ryan Grady and Julianna Shuhart.
The family would like to thank the staff at McAuley Residence and St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care and compassion Ruth received.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband Charles D. Clifford.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to McAuley Residence, 308 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Ruth.
