Ruth M. Emmons

ALBANY – Ruth M. Emmons, 99, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday May 4, 2011 at the Teresian House after a brief illness.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Fred and Sadie Myers Butler. Ruth was predeceased in 1997 by her husband Chauncey Emmons. She will be dearly remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Ruth's family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the dedicated staff on the 5th floor at the Teresian House for all of their kind and compassionate care.
Ruth is the beloved mother of Chauncey (Barbara) Emmons Jr. and Fred (Marcia) Emmons. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Teresian House, 5th floor, 200 Washington Ave Ext. Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Ruth M. Emmons.
