Ruth M. Korzyk

ALBANY - Ruth Korzyk, 82, of Albany, entered into eternal peace on Sunday , February 23, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side. A native and lifelong resident of Albany, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Elizabeth McIntyre.

Ruth was a graduate of the Cathedral Academy. She enjoyed many hobbies including going to casinos, playing cards, crossword puzzles and playing with her cats, but was happiest spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ruth was a kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart. She will be greatly missed.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Joseph J. Korzyk, her son Walter J. Korzyk and her grandson Walter J. Korzyk, Jr. Ruth is the Mother of Joseph W. (Kathleen) Korzyk, Theresa (Thomas) Flynn and Michael J. Korzyk (Darlene Bellicose), Mother In Law of Deborah Korzyk, and Sister of Carol Roberts. Ruth is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
