Ruth M. Polsonilli

WESTMERE- Ruth M. Polsonilli, 86, of Westmere, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Inn of Community Hospice with her beloved family at her side.
She was born in Albany on April 12, 1922 and was the daughter of the late James and Barbara Goergen. Ruth was predeceased in 1974 by her husband Guy Polsonilli. She was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School.
Ruth is the beloved mother of Barbara (Daniel) Turnell and Richard Polsonilli. She is the cherished grandmother of Matthew (Guisseli) Turnell, Kerry Turnell, Amanda and Victoria Polsonilli. She was the sister of the late James, Frank, Charles, August and John Goergen. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caring and dedicated staff of 6 Brady and the Hospice Inn of St. Peters Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning at 9:00 at St. Margaret Mary Church. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memorys Garden. At the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Peter's Cardiac Care, 315 S. Manning Blvd. Albany NY 12208 or the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Ave. Albany NY 12208 in memory of Ruth M. Polosnilli.
