Ruth M. Marhafer, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 30, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. Ruth was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ruth (Fountain) Clute. Ruth was the devoted wife of over 49 years, to Walter F. Marhafer.
Ruth loved the Schenectady Dog Training Club, she has been a member for many years. She had an incredible love for her animals.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Walter Marhafer, her brother, Leonard Clute Jr., her nephew, Ty (Heather Bordeaux) Clute, her niece Candy (Tony Villano) Gurren, her great nieces Samantha Clute and Emily Bordeaux.
Funeral services will be private for the family and burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
