Ruth L. (Folmsbee) Marshall, 74, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017 in Venice Beach FL formerly of Broadablin, NY.
She was born on September 23, 1942 in Schenectady NY to Harold E. and Irene L. Proctor both predeceased. She was a graduate of Draper High School 1960.
She was a stay at home mom until the late 1970's when she earned her Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and broker's license in insurance, retiring from Farm Family Insurance in 2011.
Ruth enjoyed spending time with family and friends she loved boating and being at the lake. She was a member of the Sacandaga Boat Club, Elks, Moose and American Legion.
Her husband of 48 years Richard Folmsbee, Sr. passed away in 2010 she remarried in 2013. Survived by her husband Ronald S. Marshall, her son Richard (Jill) Folmsbee, Jr., a sister Katherine (Hugh) Smith and grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 10am-12pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment to follow in Fair View Cemetery, Princetown.
