Ruth Elizabeth Mondun

Ruth Elizabeth Mondun (Spotts), 89 of Albany peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Albany Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family.

Ruth is a former employee of the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center where she retired after 30 years of service.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Dolores (Richard-A special son in law) Womack and Denise Mondun (Alex); one daughter in law, Linda Mondun; Her beloved sister, Naomi Henderson (Mutual); her beloved 11 Grandchildren and 21 Great grandchildren; a dear sister in law; Dorothy Mondun to include a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Ruth was predeceased by two daughters, Donna and Dawn Mondun; one son, Charles R. Mondun Sr., one sister, Geraldine Thomas; one brother Clarence Spotts, and sister in law Betty Spotts.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Ave, Albany, NY. The celebration of her life will begin promptly at 12 noon; Reverend T. Lewis Steele Officiating.
