ALBANY – Ruth (Stracher) Lindemann, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2012 at the Teresian House in Albany.
Ruth was born on October 20, 1922 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Max and Bertha (Borotsky) Stracher and wife of the late Harry T. Lindemann. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and her yearly trips to Florida with her husband of 54 years until his passing in 1996.
Ruth is survived by her loving daughters, Carol (Harry) Van Wormer, Donna (Mike) Casey, and Patricia (the late William) Golding; her grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Jill, Jeffrey, Todd, Kurt, Tom, and Daniel; 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of the 5th floor at the Teresian House for their care and compassion given to Ruth.
Funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12203 or to the charity of one's choice in Ruth's memory.
