Colonie- Ruth L. Tillman, 79, was called home on July 21, 2017. Born in Halifax, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Traynham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Tillman, her sister, Edith Traynham, and Godmother, Augusta J. Boyd.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Donna) Tillman and Tonia (Charles Martin) Tillman; grandchildren, Anika, Ceonia, and Victor; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Rachel McKinley, Cathy Traynham, Rose (late, Emmett) Tune, Eddie "Pete" (Eva) Traynham, and Everlyene "Susie" (Charles) Davis; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Viewing hours are from 10am-12pm on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 . A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
