Ruth Venduro

Albany – Ruth E. Venduro, 88, passed away at her daughter's residence on Monday November 25, 2013 surrounded by her friends and family who had cared for her during her illness. Born in Albany, she is the daughter of the late Frederick and Amelia Meisner.

Ruth loved to spend her August at Saratoga Race Course enjoying the weather and betting the horses. Ruth will be remembered by her family as a classy woman, who loved and cherished every moment she had with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her children; Barbara (Bob) Davis, David (Lynne) Greene, Robin Greene and grandchildren; Kimberly, Joshua, Ashley, Zachary, Brendan, Logan, and David. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Aysia, Alexxa, Austin, Bentley and her siblings Evelyn (Charles) Welfinger, Frederick (Marie) Meisner Jr., and Cathy (Bob) Giordano. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Rocco Venduro in 1999, and her sister Beatrice Barton.

Funeral Services for Ruth will be held Tuesday December 3rd at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, State St. Albany. Calling hours will be held Monday December 2nd from 4 p.m. – 8p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd.
