Ryan Patrick Hacker, 25, passed away suddenly on January 28, 2024.
Ryan was born June 20, 1998. He attended Clover Patch Preschool where he and his family made many remarkable connections and friendships. Ryan then proceeded to the Center For Disability Services where he learned many life skills at which he excelled in, and later graduated from Langan School in 2019. He was presented with one of the highest awards for all around excellence, The Kevin Langan Award. He went on to an adult program through the Center of Disability Services of Delmar.
Ryan was a remarkable young man who faced any challenge life would throw in his direction. Not only would he accept the challenge, but also faced it with a smirk on his face and bless you with the most contagious laugh you've ever heard. He always knew how to break the silence and brought out the best of others around him.
Ryan enjoyed many things in life but it was the little moments where he got his laughs and kicks. He greatly enjoyed the humility people brought on themselves and this was very clear when he was watching his favorite show, "Cops." Some of his favorite activities include hanging out by a fire, bowling, fishing, ATV rides, events at the Pleasantdale Rod & Gun Club, relaxing with his dogs, spending time with family and he absolutely adored hanging out with his nieces Kyleigh and Ryleigh.
He was predeceased by his cousin, Christine Morse – Sicko; grandmother,
Juanita Bleau; Lifelong Friend, Taylor Warman; extended family, Kathy & Dennis Haughney and his "Man's Best Friends" Hershey, Hunter, and Titan.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Tina Bleau and Eric Hacker; Grandparents, Linda & Patrick Hacker; Grandfather, David Bleau; Brother, Dustin Bleau; Sister, Brittany Hacker; Nieces, Kyleigh Broudakis & Ryleigh Broudakis, Fur Buds, Bo, Shea & Axel; as well as the rest of his loving family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 4PM-7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral ceremony will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 9AM, with burial to immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery, Altamont.
