Sadie B. Thomas

Albany - Sadie B Thomas (Gibson), 53, of Albany, was called home suddenly on May
5, 2010 at Ellis Hospital embraced by her loving family.

Born August 18, 1955, in Grady AL, she was the beloved daughter of Robert B
Gibson and Gladys L Jones. Raised and educated in Troy, NY, Sadie was employed
by the NYS Department of Corrections as a Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAT).

She is survived by her loving mother, Gladys L Jones of Troy and her beloved and
devoted daughter Felicia D Thomas of Albany.

Seven sisters: Margie Ann Felton of CA, Cuemi Gibson, Ivy Fay Gibson and
Geraldine L Gibson all of Albany, Stephanie Mitchell of(AL, Tracey L Morrison
of SC and Cassandra A Gibson of AL.

Seven brothers: R.C. (Sandra) Pruitt of GA, James T (Kathy) Gibson of
Mechanicville, Jeffery C (Jeanne) Gibson of Troy, Robert M (Lainy) Gibson of
Albany, Martin L (Corina) Gibson of CA, Stephone Gibson of Kinderhook and
Christopher P Gibson of MS.

She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Na'Asha N Norman, Nahiem S
Thompson and Nijair I Sturdivant, two Godchildren, Tre'vor R Gibson and Akenndia K
Gibson, all of Albany as well as three Uncles, eight Aunts and a host of nieces,
nephews and friends.

Sadie was predeceased by her father, Robert B Gibson, two brothers Tommie Pruitt
and Bartholomew Gibson and by her precious granddaughter, Tatianna S Gill.

8:00 PM at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY.
Services to follow on Thursday, May 13, 2010, 1:00 PM, at the Mount Olive
Missionary Baptist Church, 236 N. Pearl St, Albany, NY.
