Sally Ann Mastroianni

Sally Ann Mastroianni, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sally was born in Albany to the late Ralph "Dutch" and Mary Bentley. She graduated from Draper High in 1956. Sally began raising her family and being a loving mother while working for NY State. After raising her children Sally worked as an office manager for Sampsons Prosthetics Lab in Schenectady. Sally's greatest love was for animals, especially her four cats. She had a natural gift for gardening and was especially fond of her beautiful gladiolas and peonies.
In addition to her parents Sally was predeceased by her brother, Albert William Bentley and her former husband, Louis Mastroianni.
Sally is survived by her three children; Michael (Mary) Mastroianni, Richard (Lisa) Mastroianni and John (Tom Tompkins) Mastroianni. She is the loving grandmother of Nicole and Joseph Mastroianni. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will precede the service from 11:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Memorys Garden, Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice of Saratoga 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Sally. The family would like to thank all of the care givers that provided their mother with overwhelming care and support during this time, especially Jane Devarne and Kathy Meyers.
