GUILDERLAND – Samuel J. Scott, 45, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2011 with his family by his side. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Eugene and Jeanne Scott. Sam was a lifelong resident of Guilderland. He was currently working for Adirondack Cabling & Security. Sam was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time at camp. He is the beloved husband of Tracy Scott. Sam is the devoted father of Kendra Scott and stepfather of Alicia O'Brien. He is the loving brother of Karen Tice, Luke Scott and Kathy Scott. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
