Albany- Samuel E. Penick, Jr. "Bubba" passed away on April 11, 2020 with his wife Elizabeth by his side at Hudson Park Nursing Home.
He was born in Halifax, VA, the son of the late Samuel and Alice Barksdale Penick. Samuel retired from Morgan Linen in 2001 as a Truck Driver.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; one brother, Willis (Pearl) Penick, San Antonio, TX; one sister Mary (dec. Robert) Wes; four children: Patricia (Keith) Williams, Philadelphia, PA, Deanna (Sharmeek) Sanchez, Sam Penick of Amsterdam and Robin Penick, Albany; one step daughter, Cathy (Michael) Young of Syracuse, NY; mother in law, Mother Margie Brown, Albany, NY. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
