Samuel William Cobb

ALBANY – Samuel William Cobb, 62, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
Samuel was born on August 17, 1950 in Albany and was the son of the late Pauline Elizabeth Roberts and Thomas William Cobb. He was a maintenance mechanic for Niagara Mohawk for approximately 34 years, retiring in 2007.
Samuel is survived by his loving children, Theron W. Cobb of Albany and Shakera Green and her husband Alan of Albany; his cherished grandchildren, Deron X. Cobb and Aniyah Cobb; his loving sisters, Yvonne Taylor of Wesley Chapel, FL and Cathy Edmondson and her husband William of Albany; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday. Interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery in Albany.
