Sandra A. Carl

Sandra A. Carl, 73, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at St. Peters Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born in New Salem to the late William H. Leitch and Leila M. Boff and step daughter of the late Garrett Belles.

Sandra was the owner of the New Salem Garage, a Charter Member of the New Salem Fire Department Auxiliary, Daughter of the Revolutions and Owner/Operator of Brookhaven Studios. She enjoyed arts and crafts, reading, cooking, gardening, weaving, driving her golf cart around, making jokes but mostly she enjoyed her family. In addition to her parents Sandra was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick Carl.

Sandra is survived by her loving children; Terryl L. Carl, Darryl (Melissa) Carl and Andrew (Katy) Carl. She is the cherished grandmother of, Stephanie Renee, Victoria Lynn, Evan Charles Frederick, Nicholas Frederick and Aiden Dewitt. She is also survived by several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm and Thursday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, New Salem.
