Sandra (Harnish) Frisbee, 71, of Albany, passed away early Christmas morning at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters Hospital.
She was born on July 7, 1949 in Albany, the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Zeh) Skilling.
She attended Shaker High School, then was employed by New York State Department of Labor and the New York State Lottery, until her retirement.
She enjoyed playing cards, online gaming, cooking and planning the annual Zeh family reunion. She loved spending time with her husband, family and her loving canine companion, Lucky. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Stanton "Sonny' Frisbee.
She is survived by her children, Reginald (Cindy Lovely) Harnish, Russell (Dawn) Harnish, Lori (Jared Smith) Frisbee, Douglas Frisbee, Deborah (William) Harrington, Kevin (Cory) Frisbee, Linda Frisbee, Patricia "Trish" (Will) Watkins, Sandra Loomer and her sister Sherry (Ed) Quinn. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Community Hospice for their compassion and care given to Sandra.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens. The family will provide a virtual option for the service for those who may not be able to attend in person.
Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements.
Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
