Sandra Jean Tanner

Sandra Jean Tanner, 49, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. Sandy was born Syracuse, New York to Tyree and Helen (Gibson) Tanner.
Sandy worked for the Averill Park Central School District for over ten years. She enjoyed riding on Craig's motorcycle, bowling, camping, golfing and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sandy is survived by her cherished children; Christopher (Amanda) Passineau, and her twin daughters Kasandra and Beth Passineau. She is the adored grandmother of Madison, Annabelle, Julia, Alisa, Elizabeth and Dillon. She is the sister of Tyree Michael Tanner and Mary Beth Brown. She is also survived by her loving companion, Craig A. Lanning and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center 6725 Lyons St East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007 in Sandra's memory.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will be on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
