Sandra L. Baim, 67, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014 at her home with her family by her side.
Sandra was born in Schenectady to Leona and the late James Williams.
She lived her whole life in Schenectady with her husband of 50 years, Vincent.
She attended Schalmont High School and when she was asked about her occupation she always claimed to be a homemaker and a "Domestic Goddess". She loved crocheting baby blankets and outfits for charity, flee markets, baking cookies, and going to the casinos to play the slots.
Sandra is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Vincent T. Baim; her children April VanHeusen of Schenectady, Vincent T. Baim, Jr. (Pam) of Clifton Park; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn VanHeusen of Albany and Eric VanHeusen of Schenectady; her brother Richard Williams of Long Island. Other relatives include; JoAn Lapan, John Mercoglan and Maria Mercoglan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady County, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in Sandra's memory.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Viewland Cemetery.
