Sandra S. Stefanazzi
November 29, 1940 — January 10, 2017
Sandra S. Stefanazzi, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Sandra was the daughter of the late Don and Chicky Levernois.
Sandra was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy parish for many years.
She was a proud auxiliary member of the Fuller Road Fire Department.
Sandra enjoyed traveling, loved to have fun and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She enjoyed life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle LeMorta and Sandra's first husband, Truman C. Groff.
Sandra is survived by her son, Truman (Maria Figliomeni) Groff; she is the proud grandmother of Morgan Groff, Mark (Christina) and Adam LeMorta; and loving great grandma of Mark LeMorta, Jr. She is the sister of Donald (Lorraine) Levernois.
The family would like to thank St. Peters Hospice, the level of care that they have given to Sandra and her family was far past anything the family could have asked for.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 12:00 pm at New Comer funerals and cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will follow the service from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
