Sanford Cohen

April 28, 1934 — March 17, 2014

ALBANY-Sanford R. "Satch" Cohen passed away on March 17, 2014 in the loving arms of his wife. He was born and raised in Albany, NY. His parents were the late Abraham and Florence Cohen. Satch was a member of the Latham Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved talking about the scriptures to everyone he met. He was a career employee of the NYS Department of Labor before retiring in 1996.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife and love of his life, Mary Agnes Cohen; two brothers Arnold (Beverly) Cohen and Raymond Cohen; his sister Karen (Al) Proctor; nieces and nephews as well as many loving extended family members. He was predeceased by his brother Howard Cohen.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd. Albany, NY.
